I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Summer Holiday Safety - Keep Children Safe

With the school summer holidays in full swing, we encourage parents, carers, and the wider community to help keep children safe while they enjoy their break. Make sure young people know how to stay safe when out and about-encourage them to stay in groups, keep in touch with a trusted adult, and avoid unfamiliar areas. Remind them not to speak to strangers and to report anything that makes them feel unsafe. If children are using bikes or scooters, ensure they wear helmets and stay alert near roads. Let's work together to give our children a safe, happy, and memorable summer.
